Russia resumes international flights with Egypt, UAE and Maldives

Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed an order to resume international air traffic with the following countries on a reciprocal basis:

- Egypt (Cairo), 3 flights per week;

- United Arab Emirates (Dubai), 2 flights per week;

- Republic of Maldives (Velana airport), 2 flights per week.

The solution was proposed by the operational headquarters for preventing the spread of a new coronavirus infection in the Russian Federation, based on the established safety criteria, as well as on the principles of reciprocity.

The frequency of air traffic with Switzerland is also increasing-4 times a week, instead of 1 time. The following flights will be operated: 2 Aeroflot flights on the Moscow – Geneva – Moscow route and 2 Swiss Air flights on the Zurich – Moscow – Zurich route.

The operational headquarters continues to monitor the situation and work on expanding the list of countries with which air traffic can be resumed.
