The Federal customs service of Russia makes a significant contribution to strengthening economic security and protecting the national interests of our country. The work of customs authorities is one of important mechanisms for state regulation of foreign trade and creating favorable conditions for successful development of international economic cooperation.

Despite the known objective difficulties of this year, the specialists of Astrakhan customs demonstrate favorable results. Over the past nine months, the Customs transferred almost 7 billion rubles to the Federal budget, which exceeds the established benchmarks. During this period, more than 30 thousand declarations for goods worth more than $ 2.5 million were issued.

The main partners of Astrakhan region for export and import are Caspian sea countries. Exports are based on cereals and ferrous metal products, while imports are primarily represented by ships, boats and floating facilities.

For almost three decades, Astrakhan customs has been helping to attract new participants to foreign economic activity, working with them to explain the specifics of Russian legislation, and participating in the implementation of foreign economic projects.
