Astrakhan University takes part in EU projects

Partner universities from Russia, Azerbaijan, Great Britain, Portugal, Sweden, Estonia participated in the coordination meeting within the framework of the Erasmus+ program project The European Union, aimed at supporting cooperation in the field of higher education, vocational training, youth and sports.

The coordinator of the project is Linkoping University (Sweden). The project participants from the European side are Tallinn University (Estonia), Derby University (Great Britain), Tomar Polytechnic Institute (Portugal).

Along with Astrakhan State University, the Southern Federal University (Rostov-on-Don) and Voronezh State University became Russian participants of the project. From the Azerbaijani side, the Azerbaijan State University of Oil and Industry, Baku Engineering University and Baku State University joined the dialogue.

During the meeting, the coordinators familiarized their colleagues with the current state of affairs and further plans in connection with the possible extension of the Erasmus+ project implementation period for another year due to the unfavorable epidemiological situation.

The meeting also discussed the participation of universities in MAGnUS master's programs and plans for the exchange of students and teachers in 2022.
