Another meeting of the Council of Exporters of Astrakhan region held under the Ministry of International and Foreign Economic Activities of Astrakhan region

On January 26th the Ministry of International and Foreign Economic Relations of Astrakhan region hosted a regular meeting of the Council of Exporters of Astrakhan region.
In 2017 the Council of Exporters under the Ministry of International and Foreign Economic Relations of Astrakhan region comprises the heads of industrial enterprises - the most active exporters, customs agents, heads of organizations involved in assisting businesses, representatives of the regional executive authorities.
The meeting’s main focus was made on analyzing the situation in the sphere of foreign economic activity, further efforts to be made for the development of foreign economic relations of Astrakhan region. Particular attention was paid to conducting advanced training courses for employees of companies engaged in foreign trade activities, as well as the issues to enhance cooperation with the Russian export hub.
The Council members discussed the issues pertaining to the next competition "Best Exporter of Astrakhan region - 2016". The competition is held for the manufacturers and suppliers of Astrakhan region, small and medium-sized businesses committed to exporting innovative products, companies exporting third party products or services, as well as companies promoting export. The participants of the meeting also perused the issues of determining the winners of this competition, the list of documents required for participation in the competition and other organizational matters.
Following the meeting, the Council members agreed to develop and submit proposals aimed at improving foreign economic activity in the region.
