2nd stage of Caspian Interregional Olympiad started in Astrakhan
The annual competition for schoolchildren is held at Astrakhan State University.
About two thousand students from different regions of Russia and neighboring countries took part online in the first round of the competition in 11 general-education subjects. More than 900 schoolchildren have successfully completed the tasks of the qualifying stage and will now compete for prizes.
The winners and prize-winners of the Caspian Interregional Olympiad are awarded with certificates of respective degrees, and the teachers who prepared them — with letters of gratitude.
Caspian Interregional Olympiad is a traditional university event. Its main objectives are to identify and develop students' creative abilities and interest in research activities, encourage students to study school subjects, create the necessary conditions to support gifted children, as well as to improve the pedagogical skills of teachers.
