The dialogue between universities and scientific organizations of the Caspian countries continues
On 6th of July, 2020 a working meeting of Association of State Universities of Caspian Region Countries (ASUCRC) was held online.
The meeting was chaired by the President of Association, the Head of Gilan University Ahmad Razi and Executive Director of Association, the President of Astrakhan State Technical University Yuri Pimenov.
The agenda included issues related to the science, research and technology, student issues and education.
The chancellor of Astrakhan State University Konstantin Markelov, the chancellor of Imam Khomeini International University Abolhassan Naeini and the chancellor of University of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources Asadollah Teimouri shared information about the work done and made proposals.
In addition, members of the Association discussed the organization's work plan in conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic. In particular, it was decided to postpone the Assembly of the Association to 2021 and hold a regular working meeting in October this year.
